About this trip

The ultimate ocean passage — 2,700 nautical miles from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to Martinique in the Caribbean. This is the classic trade wind route, following centuries of seafaring tradition across the Atlantic Ocean. Expect 14–18 days of open ocean sailing with no land in sight. You'll learn celestial navigation, watch-keeping, sail management in trade winds, and the mental discipline of long-distance sailing. The experience is transformative — there's nothing quite like a mid-ocean sunrise with 2,000 meters of water beneath you. This trip is for experienced sailors ready for a serious offshore challenge. Previous night sailing and passage experience required.
